How do I know I have this issue?
You may hear a clicking noise from the pedal crank. This usually occurs with every rotation of the crank, at the same point, when applying significant pressure on the pedals.

This can be caused when the crank arm and bottom bracket require greasing or cleaning.

Step 1: First, ensure the clicking sound isn't coming from the pedal (tighten the pedal harder).
Step 2: If not, follow this tutorial. You will remove the crank arm (usually the non-drive side one), clean any debris that could have accumulated there, apply some grease, and reattach the crank arm.
