What are the maintenance options for Joule customers?

If your Cowboy bike requires maintenance, Joule can assist with the maintenance process. You can contact Joule through their website, by email, or phone to schedule a repair. In most cases, Joule will handle the repair directly or refer you to a specialized repair center if needed.

What should I do if my Cowboy bike needs repairs that are out of warranty?

For out-of-warranty repairs:

  • Contact Joule directly via their website, email, or phone to arrange a repair.

  • If Joule cannot handle the repair, they may refer you to Cowboy or a recognized repair center.

  • If you choose to have the repair done by Cowboy, Joule will pay for it directly. Make sure to provide the full name of the client or their Joule ID (a sticker on the bike starting with "Joule" followed by 7-8 numbers).

  • If you’ve already paid for the repair, Joule will reimburse you. Simply send them the invoice.

What happens in case of theft or vandalism?

In the event of theft or vandalism:

  1. Contact Joule to file a claim.

  2. Cowboy will provide a pro forma repair or replacement estimate.

  3. Joule will process the insurance claim and handle the repair or replacement.

Cyclis Bike Lease

What are the maintenance options for Cyclis customers?

  1. Preferred Partner Shops: We recommend visiting a bike shop that partners with both Cyclis and Cowboy. These shops are equipped to service Cowboy bikes and will manage invoicing directly with Cyclis Bike Lease.

  2. Cowboy On Demand Service: You can also book an On Demand Service through the Cowboy app, where a certified technician comes to your location. However, this service may take longer to schedule as we need to confirm if Cyclis covers the costs. In this case, please book a single maintenance appointment via the app and fill out each step. You will then receive an email confirming this request, asking you to pay and confirm. Make sure not to pay. Please contact us via [email protected] from this moment on and we will see if Cyclis will pay for this.

What should I do if my Cowboy bike needs repairs that are out of warranty?

For out-of-warranty repairs, you have several options:

  • Use your Cyclis service budget to cover repair costs or purchase spare parts.

  • Contact Cowboy for assistance, and we can arrange the repair and invoice Cyclis directly.

What happens in case of theft or vandalism?

If your bike is stolen or vandalized:

  1. Report the incident to Cyclis’ insurance provider.

  2. Contact Cowboy for a pro forma repair or replacement cost.

  3. Cyclis will assess the claim and approve the repair or replacement. Cowboy will process the necessary steps and invoice Cyclis.

What should I do in case of a warranty issue?

For any warranty-related issues, contact Cowboy directly at [email protected]. Cowboy covers warranty repairs and do not require the use of your o2o service budget.

What if my warranty has expired and I need a repair?

For out-of-warranty repairs, you have the following options:

  1. Purchase the necessary spare parts using your service budget. Cowboy can process the order and invoice it to o2o.

  2. In some cases, Cowboy can arrange for a technician to repair your bike. The repair invoice will be sent to o2o and covered using your service budget.

What are the maintenance options for o2o customers?

You have several maintenance options:

  1. Purchase spare parts or accessories using your service budget. Cowboy can process the order and invoice it to o2o.

  2. Use your service budget to purchase the Cowboy Care subscription if you are within the care area.

  3. Use your service budget to a Cowboy On Demand Service if you are within the care area.

What should I do in case of an insurance claim?

For insurance claims involving bike damage:

  1. Report the incident to o2o’s insurance provider.

  2. Contact Cowboy’s customer service team to get a pro forma invoice for the repair cost.

  3. Submit the pro forma invoice to o2o for their insurance team to review and approve.

  4. Once approved, Cowboy will handle the parts order and repair costs and invoice o2o accordingly.

Lease a Bike Belgium

What maintenance options are available for Lease a Bike customers?

Lease a Bike customers receive a yearly maintenance budget, which can range from €150 to unlimited, depending on your specific plan. Here are your options for maintenance:

  1. Visit any recognized Lease a Bike shop for maintenance.

  2. Use the On Demand service package offered by Cowboy via your Lease a Bike service package. In this case contact us, letting us know of your Lease a Bike contract ID.

What should I do in case of warranty issues?

For any warranty-related issues, customers need to contact Cowboy directly. Cowboy covers warranty repairs, and you will not need to use your Lease a Bike service package.

What if my warranty has expired and I need a repair?

If your warranty has expired, you have several options:

  1. Purchase necessary spare parts using your maintenance budget. You will need to contact us to check if Lease a Bike approves payment for the spare parts. Once approved, the Cowboy B2B team can process the order and invoice it to Lease a Bike.

What should I do in case of an insurance claim?

For insurance claims related to bike damage:

  1. Contact Cowboy's customer service team to get a quote for the repair costs.

  2. Cowboy’s customer support will assess the damage and provide a quote.

  3. We will submit the quote to Lease a Bike for their insurance team to approve or deny.

  4. Once approved, the Cowboy B2B team will handle the order for the necessary parts and repair costs, invoicing them directly to Lease a Bike.

Ubike

What maintenance options are available for UBike customers?

UBike offers a Standard Service Pack, which is designed to provide you with a quality leasing experience. Key features include:

  • UBike Standard Insurance Pack: Comprehensive coverage for your bike.

  • Belgium Assistance: On-road help whenever you need it, right here in Belgium.

  • Regular Maintenance: Upkeep to keep your bike in top condition.

What should I do if my bike is stolen?

If your bike has been stolen, report the theft to UBike at [email protected] within 48 hours. You will need to provide:

  • Your coverage policy (available for download with the Standard Service Package).

  • A police report (or certificate of complaint).

  • A detailed description of the circumstances, including the time and place of the theft.

Please note that we may ask for photos of the lock keys, battery, etc., later on. If this is your first theft, you may be eligible for a replacement bike as part of the standard service package.

What should I do if I have a bicycle accident?

If you’ve been in a bicycle accident, notify UBike within 48 hours by emailing [email protected]. To make a claim, provide the following:

  • Your coverage policy (available for download with the Standard Service Package).

  • A completed claims document.

  • Photos of the damage.

  • An estimate for the repair from a Ushop (which does not need to be provided within 48 hours).

  • If a third party was involved, a police report is also required.

Please note that cosmetic damage, such as scratches, is not covered. An excess of €50 will be applied.

Germany

Jobrad

Where can I perform maintenance on my Cowboy bike?

You can theoretically perform maintenance on your Cowboy bike at any JobRad bike shop. However, not all shops may be willing to perform inspections on electric bikes.

Please note that Cowboy is not a JobRad maintenance partner, as we do not have a German VAT number, which prevents us from sending invoices to JobRad for services.

Alternatively, you can check which bike shops work with JobRad and which ones work with us at Cowboy here. If there is an overlap, you can visit that shop.

mein-dienstrad.de

What are the maintenance options for mein-dienstrad.de customers?

Maintenance is covered through our network of mein-dienstrad.de-recognized bike dealers. You can find the nearest dealer on our website [here](link to Cowboy dealers). For warranty issues, contact Cowboy customer service directly.

What should I do if my Cowboy bike needs repairs that are out of warranty?

For out-of-warranty repairs, there are several options:

  • Visit a mein-dienstrad.de-recognized bike dealer.

  • Use your service budget (if applicable) to cover repair costs.

  • Contact Cowboy for assistance; we can help you arrange a repair and invoice mein-dienstrad.de for the cost.

  • Contact Kazenmaier directly for assistance.

  • Kazenmaier will either handle the maintenance or refer you to Cowboy or an authorized repair center.

What should I do if my Cowboy bike needs repairs that are out of warranty?

For out-of-warranty repairs:

  • Contact Kazenmaier to arrange a repair.

  • If Kazenmaier can’t complete the repair, they may refer you to Cowboy or a recognized repair center.

  • If the repair is handled by Cowboy, Kazenmaier will manage the payment directly. You’ll need to provide your client details or Kazenmaier ID for identification.

What happens in case of theft or vandalism?

If your bike is stolen or vandalized:

  1. Contact Kazenmaier to report the incident.

What are the maintenance options for Company Bike customers?

For any repairs, you can contact Company Bike through their portal. They provide a service where qualified bike mechanics come directly to you for maintenance. For smaller repairs, you can also visit a local bike shop, which is a convenient option for quick fixes.

What should I do if my Cowboy bike needs repairs that are out of warranty?

If your Cowboy bike needs out-of-warranty repairs, you can handle this through Company Bike’s repair process. They will arrange for their service mechanics to assist or refer you to a local bike shop for the repair. Costs may vary depending on the repair type, but Company Bike ensures a smooth handling of the process.

What happens in case of theft or vandalism?

Company Bike offers comprehensive theft and damage insurance as part of the leasing contract. If your bike is stolen or vandalized, you can file a claim directly with Company Bike, who will manage the replacement or repair process under the insurance policy.

For repairs, Beetogreen partners with service providers to help you maintain your bike. You can reach out to Beetogreen for guidance on warranty issues or out-of-warranty repairs, and they will assist in directing you to their authorized partners.

What happens in case of theft or vandalism?

Beetogreen offers insurance options to protect your Cowboy bike. If your bike is stolen or damaged, the insurance will cover replacement or repairs. The specifics of the insurance package, including deductibles or requirements like approved locks, will depend on your leasing agreement with Beetogreen.

How is maintenance handled for my Cowboy bike through Hellorider?

Hellorider customers have two options for maintenance:

  1. Preferred Partner Shops: We recommend visiting a bike shop that partners with both Hellorider and Cowboy. These shops are equipped to service Cowboy bikes and will manage invoicing directly with Hellorider.

  2. Cowboy On Demand Service: You can also book an On Demand Service through the Cowboy app, where a certified technician comes to your location. When leasing through Leasefiets, maintenance is included in your fixed monthly fee. This fee covers not just maintenance but also insurance and roadside assistance. You can contact Leasefiets to find out the specifics of how and where to get your Cowboy bike serviced.

What should I do if my lease bike is stolen?

If your leased Cowboy bike is stolen, contact Leasefiets immediately. Since insurance is part of your monthly lease, they will guide you through the process of reporting the theft and filing a claim. Make sure to file a police report and submit any necessary documents to Leasefiets.

New Mobility Lease

How is maintenance handled for my Cowboy bike through New Mobility Lease?

New Mobility Lease customers have two options for maintenance:

  1. Preferred Partner Shops: We recommend visiting a bike shop that partners with both New Mobility Lease or Hellorider and Cowboy. These shops are equipped to service Cowboy bikes and will manage invoicing directly with New Mobility Lease/Hellorider.

If your Cowboy bike requires maintenance, JOOLL includes a service package with routine checks. JOOLL will come to your workplace or home to service the bike at 6, 18, and 30 months. If needed, you can upgrade to the ServicePLUS package, which covers additional wear-and-tear parts like tires and brake pads.

What should I do if my Cowboy bike needs repairs that are out of warranty (OOW)?

Contact JOOLL via [email protected], and they will arrange for your Cowboy bike to be repaired. For more comprehensive coverage, you can upgrade to the ServicePLUS package, which includes extra parts and labor for wear-and-tear repairs at no additional cost.
