How do I change my password?
If you need to change your password, please follow this link in order to reset your password. You can add the email address linked to your bike and you will then receive a password retrieval email shortly after.
How do I connect my app to two different bikes?
It is currently only possible to connect one bike with one email address. In order to use another bike on your app, we kindly ask you to log out from your app and sign up on the app with another email address. You will then be able to switch from one bike to the other by logging out from one email address and signing in with the other one, depending on which bike you would like to use.
Can I use my bike with another email address?
Each bike is linked with one email address.
If your email address has changed, we kindly ask you to send us an email using the email address linked with your bike so that we can update your email address in the system.
If you do not have access to the email address linked with your bike, we will first need to make sure that you are the rightful owner of the bike before proceeding with the transfer. Please then get in touch with us so that we can securely change your email address.
How can I share my bike with someone else?
You can easily share your bike with your friends or family. To achieve this, they can simply download the app and log in with your email address and password. One bike can only be connected to one account so be careful not to create a new account.
One important point to keep in mind is that only one person can be connected via bluetooth to the bike at the same time. In order to make sure that the bluetooth connection works, it is necessary to first disconnect the connected phone before connecting the next one. Make sure to log out from one phone before using another.
If you own a Cowboy 3 or later model, you can also give your friend or family member one of your battery keys so that they can use the manual unlock of your bike.
Can I use another phone to connect with my bike?
You can definitely use another phone to connect with your bike. To do so, you can download the Cowboy App on the other phone and log in using your credentials. We suggest to first log out from the first device to ensure a smooth connection on the other phone.
I already own a Cowboy bike and just received a new one. How do I connect to the new bike?
Please get in touch with the team to make sure all the data and potential insurance / Cowboy Care contracts are securely transferred to your new bike.
If you don't have an insurance or Cowboy Care contract linked with your bike, then you can un-link your current bike from your email address from your Cowboy App. Simply click on Setting (3rd button) > More information > Unlink this bike from my account.
How do I resell my bike to someone else but keep my data?
Head to the Settings tab of the app
Scroll to the Your Bike section, and Tap Advanced
Click on Unlink this bike from my account
You'll then receive by email instructions to forward to the new bike owner to let them use your bike. Note that they'll not be able to see all your personal data like the rides you've done with the bike. With this method, you'll keep all your data. So if one day you buy a brand new Cowboy bike, you'll still see the rides you made with your former bike.
I want to permanently delete my account, what should I do?
Head to the Settings tab and click on your account
Tap on Delete account at the bottom of the screen
Confirm you really want to permanently delete your account and lose all your data
Watch out: All your data, including all your rides and achievements, will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone. You will still receive instructions to access the bike again by email.
