How do i know i have this issue?

Your pedals will be misaligned, or your crank arms or pedals have become loose. They may become loose enough that they fall off.

Additionally, the thread on your pedal screws will be worn/damaged, so that you cannot adjust the pedals yourself.

What causes this issue?

This happens when the pedals are installed incorrectly - e.g. installing the left pedal on the right crank and vice versa.

Is this issue covered by warranty?
