How are they calculated?
For each ride, we estimate the number of calories you've burned based on the torque you apply to the pedals, as well as your pedaling cadence.
Why don't I get the same estimate with other apps?
There are many other methods to estimate calories burned. Some are based on your heart rate, others on the evolution of your positions. It's very likely that you'll notice differences, sometimes quite significant, between these different methods.
How accurate is this estimate?
This method, based on a torque sensor in the bottom bracket, is reputed to be more accurate than those based on heart rate.
