I want to add other accessories to my bike, is it possible?

It is possible to add accessories to your bike. You can for example add the following items to your bike:

  • Bell

  • Child seat

  • Front basket

  • Rear basket

  • Kickstand

  • Lock

  • Mudguards

  • Saddle

  • Trailer

We first recommend to take a look at our webshop by following this link.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, you can find a list of recommended accessories for your bike by clicking on this link. Please bear in mind that this is a third-party website, and that attaching third-party accessories on your bike voids the warranty on that part.

Which other parts are compatible with the Cowboy bike?

We have suggestions for alternative bike parts listed on a third-party website that you can find here. However, please remember that this is not our website, and if you choose to install any third-party accessories on your bike, it may void the warranty for that part.

Should you wish to check the compatibility of a third-party accessory that is not listed on our website or on, you can contact us for the necessary specs of the Cowboy bike. With this information at hand, you can then communicate with the manufacturer of the accessory to confirm if it is compatible with their product.

This website will for example allow you to find compatible parts for:

  • Tires

  • Inner tubes

  • Brake pads

  • Stems

  • Pedals

  • Handlebars

  • Seat posts

  • Lights

  • ...

Can I attach a trailer on my Cowboy bike?

  • If you own a Cowboy 3

A trailer typically must be attached to the rear wheel axle. The rear wheel axle of the Cowboy 3 is fixed and has a diameter of 12mm. Most trailers are designed for axles of 10mm diameters. You'll thus likely need to drill the hole to enlarge it. Some of our customers and employees have already done it successfully. You can find a suggestion here. Please bear in mind that, since it is a third-party accessory, the warranty will be voided for this part.
We would still advise you to go to your nearest bike shop, so that he can guide you in your choice and the installation of the trailer.

  • If you own a Cowboy Classic / Cowboy Cruiser / Cowboy Cruiser ST

Adding a trailer to our bike is one of the more often requested accessories. For our Cowboy Classic/Cruiser/Cruiser ST you can purchase the trailer adapter on our webshop.

Can I add a front basket/rack on my bike?

Although we do not offer a first-party front rack or front basket, if you would like to attach a front rack or a front basket to your bike, we suggest to take a look at this third-party website.

How do I adjust the height of the handlebar?

Kindly note that due to the electronics infrastructure in the cockpit, it is not possible to adjust the height of or change the handlebar on the Cowboy Classic / Cruiser / Cruiser ST / Cross / Cross ST.

If you own a Cowboy 3 or previous version, then it is possible to raise the height of or change the handlebar by choosing a third-party stem on the following third-party website:, but since those are third-party accessories, if you modify your handlebar the warranty will be voided on this part.

What is the maximum weight on the Cowboy rear rack?

The maximum load on the Cowboy's rear rack is 27kg.
