Frame Number
Your frame number (also called the serial number) is the unique physical identifier of your bike.
You’ll find it underneath the bike, just below the bottom bracket. There should also be a sticker with a QR code and a code starting with CBFM (CowBoy FraMe) or FM (FraMe).
Once your bike is activated in the app, you can also view the frame number in your app settings: Settings → Advanced → Serial Number
Example: CBFM18A00967
MAC Address
The MAC address (Media Access Control address) is the unique digital identifier of your bike.
You’ll find the MAC address printed on a wrap on the frame of your new bike. It is also provided on a sticker attached to your User Guide.
Once your bike is activated in the app, you can also view the MAC address in your app settings: Settings → Advanced → MAC Address
Example: F7:0B:04:08:78:28
Bike Activation
After creating your account, you’ll be asked to scan your bike’s QR code. You can scan either the MAC address (printed on a wrap on the frame of your new bike and also on a sticker attached to your User Guide) or the frame number printed underneath the bike, below the bottom bracket.
If the QR code is damaged but the numbers remain visible, you can recreate a working QR code using any free QR code generator available online.
If you purchased your bike second-hand and it’s still linked to the previous owner’s account, ask them to unlink it by going to: Settings → Advanced → Unlink this bike from my account. They’ll receive an email containing the bike’s MAC Address QR code, which they can forward to you so you can activate the bike.
