Here are some tips for you to get the most out of your Cowboy bike and keep it in top riding shape in winter.

Long live the battery

Batteries drain more quickly in cold weather. When possible, we suggest taking your bike battery inside with you. It’s worth noting that lithium-ion bike batteries such as the one mounted on your Cowboy bike won’t turn on when the temps dip below -10 °C, and won’t charge below 0 °C.

Give your Cowboy a break from the cold

If you won’t be riding your bike for a while, it’s a good idea to remove the battery, fully charge it, and store the bike inside. Find a cozy spot in your place, or garage it if you can. Just keep the battery at room temperature, away from humidity, and give it one full recharge a month.

Keep your bike in top condition

Be sure to service your Cowboy bike on a regular basis. You can find some tips from our experts in this Cowboy Help section.
