Service budget

The concept of service budget is not provided by all of our leasing partners. This service budget is a yearly allocation which some leasing customers can use for maintenance, services or buying spare parts at Cowboy or at another recognised bike shop by the leasing partner. The leasing partners that offer this service budget are:

  1. Team Cyclis

  2. o2o

  3. Lease a Bike - Netherlands / Belgium

Details about how the service budget can be used within each of these leasing partners are provided in their respective FAQs. If your leasing partner is not listed here, it means they do not currently offer a service budget. For any maintenance or repairs, please get in touch with Cowboy directly.

Team Cyclis

With the Cyclis service budget, you can visit any Cyclis-recognized bicycle dealer.

If you have a sufficient service budget, you can also use it to purchase the Cowboy Care subscription. You can find more information about Cowboy Care on our website. If you wish to purchase it, we can place the order for you and invoice Cyclis.

Services

Cyclis customers get a yearly service budget which they can use for services or spare parts at Cowboy or at another Cyclis recognised bike shop.

Warranty cases

You need to get in touch directly with Cowboy for any warranty cases. This will be covered by Cowboy and you will not need to use your Cyclis service budget.

What if the warranty has expired and a Cyclis customer needs a repair?

If you are not sure if your case falls under warranty or not, feel free to contact us through your Cowboy app and we can give you more information.

There are several options:

  • buy needed spare parts with the budget: the Cowboy B2B team can process the order and invoice this to Cyclis. For this you will need to get in touch with us.

  • get the Cowboy Care subscription with the service budget.

  • In some cases, if a Cyclis customer has an out of warranty repair case, we can send the customer a technician to repair the bike. We will send the invoice of the paid repair intervention to Cyclis and use your service budget for this. Please note that we don’t offer single maintenance appointments, this is only for paid repair interventions.

Insurance cases

  • When damage on the bike falls under Cyclis’ insurance, you might need to ask our customer service team for a pro forma of the repair cost.

  • The customer support team of Cowboy can assess the damage and give you a pro forma.

  • We will submit the pro forma to Cyclis, whose insurance will make the decision to deny or approve that pro forma of the repair

  • Once approved, the Cowboy B2B team can process the order for the parts and the repair costs and invoice this to Cyclis.
