Tires

For the 2019 model, the tire we use has a 584mm (27'5") diameter and is 42mm (1'65") wide. If you wish to change the tires, a width up to 47mm would fit the Cowboy bike. If you use mudguards, we advise you not to go for wider than 42mm, and generally making sure the tires fit with your mudguards.

Inner Tubes

For the 2019 model, the inner tube should match the tire. Its diameter should thus be 584mm (27'5"). Because, in certain cases, the rubber can expand, 26" inner tubes can also fit the tires (e.g., Schwalbe® 26" SV12 with 40mm presta valves). If you kept the original Cowboy tires, you should buy a 40mm wide inner tube. Brands usually mention a width range (e.g. 40-50mm), so you should go for a range including 42mm. Cowboy inner tubes have Presta valves. It is not possible to replace those valves with Schrader valves as they aren't suited for the Cowboy rims.
